Q. What is Shannon Road Ice Cream?

A. It is the creamiest most delicious non dairy ice cream alternative that you’ll ever taste!

Q. Is your product ice cream?

A. Legally, no, our product is not ice cream. Without a certain amount of milk fat, a frozen product can not legally be called ice cream.

Q. If it’s not ice cream, then what is it?

A. Legally, our product, since it contains no dairy whatsoever, is officially labeled a Non Dairy Frozen Dessert.

Q. It tastes just like real ice cream, so shouldn’t it just be called ice cream?

A. While we agree with you, the Department of Agriculture doesn’t.

Q. I’m lactose intolerant. Can I eat your ice cream?

A. Yes! Shannon Road was created to address your needs! Now you can finally enjoy the taste and creaminess of ice cream without all of the nasty side effects.

Q.I only eat vegan products. Can I eat your ice cream?

A. Yes! Nothing in our ice cream contains any animal products or byproducts. Now you too can finally enjoy the taste and creaminess of ice cream.

Q. Are your products Kosher Pareve?

A. Yes, all our products are Kosher Pareve as certified by the Orthodox Union (OU).

Q. Are your products gluten free?

A. All our flavors are gluten free except for Cookies n’ Cream, which contain gluten in the cookies.

Q. Do any of your products contain any other allergens

A. While our products are non-dairy, they do contain soy, and our Butter Pecan flavor contains nuts. Please be sure to read the allergen information on each package.

Q. How many servings can you get out of one pint?

A. Well, that all depends. To me, a pint is a single serving that lasts about twenty minutes. According to the Dept. of Agriculture, you can get 4 servings out of one pint.

Q. Is there a difference between “pareve” and “parve”?

A. Yes, one has an extra “e” in it.

Q. What’s the difference between a Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert and a desert?

A. One is cold, rich and creamy; the other is hot, full of camels and sandy.
